Souvala is a beautiful traditional fishing village with a beach, nice taverns, bars, cafes, hotels, rooms to let and also has a pharmacy, supermarket, bakery and butcher’s shop. It is a wonderful holiday resort, full of life and activity.
In Souvala there is a beach with hot thermal waters, known by the old name Therma, a sulphurous hot spring suitable for the treatment of rheumatism and skin diseases. One kilometer after Souvala, east along the coast, there is the holiday village of Agioi in a green environment and 5 km away the village of Vagia, an organized sandy beach with archaeological findings.
Souvala is connected by bus with the town of Aegina. The journey is about 30 minutes. Behind the village there is a good road leading to Paleochora, a medieval town and the Monastery of Agios Nektarios.
