Agia Marina is a well-known and popular summer tourist destination, not only for Greeks but also for foreigners. It is surrounded by green pine forests and in some places the pine trees reach the sea.
It has a large, beautiful sandy beach, well organized, with water sports, not particularly deep water, which is 500 meters long. Almost all along the beach there are sunbeds, umbrellas and tables, while in front of the beach there are restaurants, taverns and cafe-snack bars.
In addition to this beach there is a rocky shore north of the waterfront, suitable for swimming and underwater fishing. In Agia Marina there are many hotels, rooms to let, picturesque seaside taverns, cafes, bars, clubs and folk art shops.
